Shed Today – Refund & Cancellation Policy

At ShedToday, we specialize in building custom sheds on-site using quality materials and dependable craftsmanship. Because our service is tailored to each customer’s needs, we’ve created the following refund and cancellation policy:

Deposits & Payments

Most of our shed builds do not require a deposit.

However, in certain cases — such as larger projects, longer travel distances, or special material orders — we may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your build date and cover upfront planning and prep work.

  • Any required deposit amount and due date will be clearly discussed and documented before scheduling.

  • Deposits, when required, can be paid via cash or check and are due within 3 business days of order confirmation to secure your build date.

  • The remaining balance is due upon completion of your shed unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept final payments via cash and checks. Payments not received within 14 days after project completion may be subject to late fees or collection actions.

Cancellations & Refunds

We understand plans can change, and we aim to be flexible when possible:

  • If no deposit was required, cancellation may be made at any time before materials are ordered or labor is scheduled, with no penalty.

  • If a deposit was required:

    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking may be eligible for a full refund if materials have not been ordered or labor scheduled.

    • Cancellations made after 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the deposit, as materials and labor preparation may have already begun.

  • Once construction has started on-site, no refunds will be issued unless we fail to deliver as promised.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days using the original payment method whenever possible.

Rescheduling Policy

Customers may request to reschedule their shed build date with at least 7 days’ notice.
Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the scheduled date may be subject to a fee or deposit forfeiture, depending on material orders and labor commitments.

Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances

ShedToday is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, or supply chain disruptions. In such cases, we will communicate promptly and work with customers to reschedule or resolve the situation fairly.

Changes to Orders

Any changes to the scope or specifications of your shed build after the order is confirmed may result in additional costs and possible schedule adjustments. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to make changes.

Privacy Notice

All customer information collected during the ordering process is kept confidential and used solely to fulfill your order. We do not share personal information with third parties.

Quality Guarantee

If you’re not satisfied with the finished shed, we want to make it right.

  • Please notify us of any issues with workmanship or materials within 7 days of project completion.
  • We will evaluate the concern and take reasonable action to repair or resolve it at no additional cost to you.

Final Walkthrough / Inspection

Upon completion, we encourage customers to do a final walkthrough with us to ensure satisfaction before final payment.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring the build site is accessible and free from obstacles. Any necessary permits or approvals must be obtained prior to construction.
